While designing for a client’s home in Qanawat, Old Damascus, we noticed a traditional motif incorporated in the master bedroom. This motif was used as the carving pattern on a new lamp for the client and launched a new series of carved wooden lamps. The Qanawat Globe is the first in the series which are named after the location where each piece’s pattern motif is found. All pieces are customizable in wood species and finish.
