Product description
Our accessory collection reinterprets the aesthetic sensibility of the Hittite civilization through a contemporary lens. Inspired by religious, mythological, and natural elements of the era, the designs embrace strong symbolism and intricate craftsmanship.Geometric forms such as circles, spirals, and triangles — once seen as representations of cosmic order and the universe — are central to the collection. In Hittite culture, objects were bold and monumental, serving not only functional purposes but also symbolizing status, power, and spiritual belief.Metalwork was highly refined, with embossing and engraving techniques now nearly forgotten in Anatolia. Drawing from this heritage, we sought to create pieces that bridge past and present, capturing the essence of Hittite artistry in a contemporary form. The mirror’s hand-engraved surface features symbolic motifs inspired by ancient Anatolian ornamentation, reflecting the Hittite understanding of geometry as a representation of harmony and cosmic balance. Finished with 33-micron 999 fine silver plating, the piece combines reflective depth with sculptural presence.Designed as both a functional object and a decorative statement, the mirror can be displayed vertically or horizontally, bringing light, symbolism, and material richness into contemporary interiors.Product specifications
