Partly submerged, partly suspended over the water, the 'Pontile' (jetty) links the world of the lagoon to the mainland. This modular bookcase is based on an architectural archetype: the trilithon. The structure consists of vertical uprights in solid reclaimed Venetian Bricola oak, rounded at the top, and horizontal support boards in solid wood. The apparent fragility of the emerging structure and the reflections of light give it a character of poetic ineffability. A modular, replicable system where every component is handcrafted in Italy, preserving the marks of time and tides.
