The American manufacturer Airstream began industrial production of its caravans during the post-war economic boom, as Americans discovered the joys and pleasures of travel. These caravans feature an all-rounded design and an unpainted aluminum body. This design and their high-quality construction gave them a timeless style, which has become a symbol of American travel and adventure. Together with the Ford Mustang coupe, we present two iconic vehicle models here. The caravan features an opening door, an awning that can be extended or stowed, and a towing system that lets the car pull the caravan.
