The lower body is treated like a fish tail, with a detailed work of scales and an extended dorsal fin forming a vertical structural element at the back of the composition. The face has soft and regular features, with a smooth hairdo pulled back. The volumes are full, compact, and the decorative details are more sober than on some ceremonial pieces. The surface is heavily patinated, with deposits, micro-erosions and variations in grey-green to beige hue, characteristic of prolonged outdoor exposure.
