This object is inspired by the hundred-year-old cypress trees of Douarnenez, brought back in the past by sailors. It evokes these organic sculptures rooted on granite coasts, living witnesses of the great crossings. A solid turned wood base accommodates two earthenware cups, in a game of balance and mixture of materials. Dimensions 38x29, handmade in France.
