Product description

The Mushin collection is inspired by the Japanese concept of Mushin - a state of mind free from fear, judgment, and attachment, where reality can be experienced as it truly is. The collection combines two continuously yet interconnected techniques: crackle and kintsugi. Craquelé introduces networks of delicate fractures within the glass - patterns resembling frozen water, geological traces, and the natural marks of time. Kintsugi transforms restoration into a visible and meaningful act. Each object moves through destruction and reconstruction. Glass fragments are separated and reunited by hand, maintaining evidence of transformation within the final form. The collection reflects on memory, vulnerability, resilience, and the human ability to continue while carrying the traces of one's own history. As light passes through fractures and joining lines, the objects reveal themselves differently from every angle - never static, never identical. Each vase becomes a material reflection of changing itself.
