This series of two lamps with a sculpted base embodies the spirit of the Fragments collection: revealing the beauty of the past through a contemporary creation. Its base comes from a side panel of an old piece of furniture. The other three sides were hand-carved from reclaimed wood, faithfully reproducing the original pattern. Each line, each curve respects the soul of the old while giving it a new existence. This work of reinterpretation, combined with traditional knowhow, gives birth to a unique piece, imbued with history and character.
