Barcelona street tiles are known as panots and the panot known as Barcelona Rose or Barcelona flower is the most characteristic in the Eixample Modernist part of the city. It was initially designed by the famous architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch for the entrance of Casa Atmetller in Passeig de Gràcia and its pattern symbolizes one of the hydraulic tile models produced by Escofet & Cia that were approved by the City Council to be used on Barcelona's pavement. This candle is an homenage to the city and has been handmande in Barcelona by Cerabella.
