This is SOLE, the sculptural wall lamp from the Maillon Collection. Handmade in my workshop in the South of France, it combines a slender cylinder with a ceramic chain entirely modelled link by link. A meticulous, almost meditative work that reveals the power of the artisanal gesture and the beauty of raw material. Originally designed as a wall lamp, SOLE is designed to be hung on the wall and accommodate a light source at the back. It then diffuses a soft and sunny glow, to bring warmth and authenticity to its interior. But it can also be used as a simple decorative wall lamp, like a sculpture that dresses the space with strength and poetry, even without light.
