In my designs, I like to emphasise the feeling of space and how we use the space around us. Involving the ceiling makes a room feel larger and creates a sense of play and connection throughout the interior. With Spatial Vase, I wanted to create a different perspective on how we perceive our surroundings and how we look at flowers. Hanging low beside a seat or high above the ground reveals a new view of the flowers each time. The rope adds an interplay of lines through the room. The vase comes in several colour gradients. A glossy glaze emphasises the water inside, while the upper section remains matte porcelain. The inner tube and small porcelain cylinder reveal how the suspension works. Its height can be adjusted with the pulley, inviting you to change and play with the composition.
