By shaping each piece to be as thin as possible, it is made approximately 40% lighter than ordinary ceramic wares. In addition to being dishwasher- and microwave-safe, each piece has its own unique character—the way the glaze melts and flows during firing varies from item to item, making no two pieces exactly alike.
