VERNACULARIO II is a textile wall sculpture entirely handmade in France. This work continues the research carried out around vernacular forms by creating a dialogue between patterns inspired by traditional decorative arts with organic volumes evoking the living. Between structure and freedom, geometry and movement, the composition finds a balance that evolves according to the gaze and the light. Made of wool from Portugal and New Zealand, it combines different fiber heights and sculptural work that reinforce its architectural presence and visual depth. The contrasts between organic forms, patterns inherited from vernacular arts, and sculpted reliefs give birth to a work where the material seems to be in motion. Her expressive writing draws the eye without ever dominating the space, creating a sensitive dialogue with architecture and light. Entirely handmade using a process combining manual tufting and fiber carving, this work illustrates artistic craftsmanship at the service of contemporary creation.
