ARMAARMA is a sculptural lounge chair by MAARCORA and the first piece in a new design direction for the atelier. Its expressive, highly textured outer shell contrasts with a soft upholstered cushion, creating a piece that combines a strong sculptural presence with a sense of comfort and protection.The name ARMA evokes strength and protection, yet the idea behind the piece is one of inner calm - a place to pause, regain balance and momentarily disconnect from the outside world.Handcrafted in Latvia through a complex, multi-stage production process, ARMA combines composite construction, specialist coatings and extensive hand-finishing.
