Product description
The glamour of the 1950s and Salvador Dalí’s surrealist ‘Lips’ sculpture: the references to the red mouth in popular culture are endless.Powerful imagery from both high and popular culture plays a key role in the design of the brooches. By simplifying and abstracting forms, a powerful and iconic image is created. The use of colour and the geometric compositions are in keeping with the tradition of Dutch design. The enamelled brooches are engraved and each has its own unique number. This also makes the brooch a unique collector’s item. The brooches feature a magnetic clasp. The brooch comes with a beautiful storage box.
