The HANJI HOUSE exhibition is organized by the Korea Craft & Design Foundation (KCDF) to commemorate the anticipated inscription of Hanji, traditional Korean paper, onto the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in late 2026. The exhibition brings together seven Korean brands, ranging from heritage manufacturers and distributors upholding traditional handmade Hanji to modern design studios equipped with advanced production systems. It presents a diverse product portfolio spanning premium paper for architecture, restoration, and artwork to sophisticated lifestyle accents. In the central curation zone, visitors can encounter furniture by design studio SWNA. Through this exhibition, visitors can explore the dynamic facets of Hanji as a living heritage connecting the past to the present.
