Fresh green striped duvet cover Bring colour into your home with this striped Aegean-style duvet cover from Turkey by Ottomania, woven from fine off-white cotton. TThe pattern consists of wide fresh-green bands and narrow, reddish-brown and lime-yellow stripes. This type of traditional fabric was originally used for bed sheets in Turkey and Greece. The striped design was created by us and inspired by these traditions. Because the fabric is wonderfully light and soft to sleep under, we decided to make duvet covers and pillowcases from it. The fabrics for our cotton duvet covers are woven on authentic, traditional looms. This artisanal process gives each piece a unique character. Washing instructions and shrinkage Good to know: the duvet cover and the matching pillowcases are slightly oversized at first. We designed them this way because the cotton shrinks during the first wash. After washing, the bedding will be the exact right size. Additionally, washing makes the fabric less sheer and extra soft.
