Born from two blocks of rock crystal, joined together to form one. Manufacturing does not begin with engraving, but with listening to the stone, by reading its natural fractures, its hidden lines, its imperfections. Each block is studied carefully, because in the crystal, a single error can determine everything that follows. The shape is then sculpted in two parts: the flower above and the sculpted base below. Each petal is shaped by hand, inspired by the timeless language of temple sculptures. Once the two forms are complete, they are reunited, their separate pieces becoming a single sculptural expression. Around the waist is a delicate band of tourmalines. No two stones are the same; each has its own color, pattern, and character, which adds a touch of chance to the precision of the carving. A traditional hand-woven cord completes the piece, complete with a waterfall of freshwater pearls. The braid follows an ancient technique once used in jewelry, an increasingly rare craft, preserved here as an integral part of the object itself. Each piece is subject to patient manual work for weeks. Nothing is uniform in stone. Nothing in manufacturing is mechanical. Two blocks. Lots of hands. One shape only.
