VOLA will become a design icon.Shortly after winning the competition in 1961 for the design of the National Bank of Denmark, the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen was contacted by Verner Overgaard, the owner of VOLA A/S, who presented him with his proposal for a new type of wall-mounted mixer.Overgaard had imagined a design where all the parts The mechanics of a faucet were built-in, leaving only the handles and spouts visible. This request was completely new. Arne Jacobsen was immediately associated with this concept. It is with this basic principle that the VOLA design that we know today was designed.
