Enamelled ceramic vase, probably from the second half of the 20th century. Truncical shape, narrow base and wide flared opening. Three deep horizontal stripes structure the lower part. Bright orange-brown enamel with visible color variations on the surface, with a more matte appearance under the base. This palette of earthy tones, the simple shapes and the marked enamel work are widely found in European studio ceramics of the 1960s-1970s. A number “2” is incised under the base, but no marking allows the part to be attributed to a specific workshop. Its generous volume and its material work well today in a brutalist, rustic or contemporary interior, as a vase for an ample bouquet or as a decorative object alone.
