Kris Van Assche, the Belgian fashion designer, took his first steps into home decoration with Serax in 2025 with Joséphine, an ode to his grandmother. Now he is launching the collection Rosamar, named after the Spanish village where he spent his summers. As in his fashion work, Van Assche offers a contemporary reinterpretation of classical beauty. The Mediterranean vase is transformed: a square base replaces the traditional round one, and sleek glaze contrasts with unglazed ceramic that resembles concrete. With this collection, Van Assche not only shows that classics remain relevant today, but also reveals a piece of his personal history.
