Product description

Set of five Grès Village glazed stoneware cups, probably from the 1970s. Simple truncated conical shape with no handle, narrow base and thick walls. Honey brown enamel with color variations, darker on the inside, with a slightly satin surface and beautiful material effects. Each piece bears the “Grès Village” stamp under the base. Simple shapes, earthy-toned glazes, and thick stoneware are characteristic of the renewal of utilitarian ceramics during the 1960s-1970s. Their format is particularly suitable for coffee or tea, with a direct grip in the manner of cups without Japanese handles. Dimensions: height 9 cm; diameter 8 cm. Overall weight: 3 kg. Good general condition, with slight enamel variations and surface irregularities. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information.
