Set of two handmade cups on a glazed terracotta stand, one green and the other honey brown. Open shape with slightly flared walls, small circular pedestal and edge cut into regular points. Thick terracotta, irregular workmanship and a surface marked by traces of manual work. Brilliant glaze with strong color variations, with lighter and darker areas and some areas where the earth remains visible. This type of glazed earthenware is part of a long tradition of Mediterranean utility pottery, where a colored glaze protects the terracotta while maintaining manufacturing irregularities. The two colors work particularly well together and the beautiful material effects give these cups a very current presence.
