Materia Prima V is a unique textile work that explores the transition from surface to volume. Graphic fragments in shades of deep red, terracotta and ecru meet sculpted forms that emerge from the composition, while long cotton fibers left free extend the work into space.Made entirely by hand in France from wool from New Zealand and Portugal and cotton, the piece combines manual tufting, fiber carving and knotted crochet. The contrast between the density of the volumes and the lightness of the free fibers gives it a sculptural presence while maintaining movement and lightness.Unique piece, 2026.
