The black of the wood comes from no dye — the oak took it on over millennia in water, earth and minerals. Baltic amber is the fossilised resin of ancient forests, around 40 million years old. The Clear Halo Disc is the purest version: colourless resin adds nothing, so every fragment of amber and every grain line of the oak is visible. The circle draws the eye to the centre of the composition, so the material takes the lead. About 40 mm across — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear.
