The black of the wood comes from no dye — the oak took it on over millennia in water, earth and minerals. Baltic amber is the fossilised resin of ancient forests, around 40 million years old. The straight edges of the rectangle form a graphic frame for the material. About 43 × 20 mm — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear. A high-gloss finish emphasises the depth of the materials.
