A rift through which copper breaks. Copper Rift is a rectangular table — about 59 × 49 cm and 45 cm high, with a 5 cm thick top — in ancient bog oak from deposits radiocarbon-dated to around 5,000 years, cut through by copper-toned resin with copper decoration. A warm, russet glow runs across the top like a fissure in rock. A satin finish quiets reflections and gives the surface a soft, silky touch. It pairs well with warm wood, leather and earth-toned textiles. The course of the rift and the grain of the oak are one of a kind. ✦ Craftsmanship Handmade in the Zona di Lusso studio in Poland · Ancient bog oak in its natural, undyed black · Every piece has its own grain — small differences are a feature of the material, not a flaw ✦ Care Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and wipe dry · Place hot dishes on mats · Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and harsh cleaning agents Atelier In the Zona di Lusso atelier, we create unique interior furnishings and objects — dining tables, coffee tables, consoles, mirrors, decorative objects and forms designed for exceptional spaces.
