Decorative resin statue depicting the Laughing Buddha, recognisable by his broad smile, generous belly and joyful expression. The figure is depicted seated, his face resting between his hands, in a relaxed, smiling pose that emphasises his warm character. In Asian popular tradition, the Laughing Buddha, often associated with Budai, symbolises joy, abundance and prosperity. The patinated mauve finish enhanced with golden shades highlights the volumes of the robe and the many details of the statuette. Its 26 cm size makes it a particularly noticeable decorative piece for an interior, a zen space or an in-store display.
