Soliflore vase in gray metal, probably made of pewter, intended to receive a single stem or a small branch. The narrow shaft is refined under a slight bulge, then opens into a flared neck. The circular foot, wide and low, ends in a flat border that gives a seat to the piece. Tapered silhouette with soft curves, organically inspired. Matt and satin surface, in a soft gray with silver reflections, which reacts well to grazing light. On a shelf, bedside table or window sill, with an olive branch, dry grass or seasonal flower; it also goes well with raw ceramic or light wood. Height: 17.5 cm. Foot diameter: 6 cm. Neck diameter: 2.3 cm. Weight: 150 g Good general condition, with a homogeneous patina from use: fine superficial scratches, a few small dark spots of oxidation on the foot, slight handling marks. Manufacture probable in the second half of the 20th century, without certainty. Mark stamped on the foot, read “Daumar”, whose manufacturer could not be identified.
