Vintage soliflora vase in the shape of an ewer, in silver plated metal. Low drop-shaped body, stretched neck that flares out towards an opening with a spout. Flat wire handle, fine and taut, fixed to the beak and the bottom of the neck. Smooth and undecorated surface, covered with a dark oxidation patina with blue and brown iridescent reflections, lighter in places on the body. Heavy base, closed with a protective felt. Probably manufactured in the 1960s or 1970s. The simple line and the handle reduced to a simple line are part of post-war modernist vocabulary, common in small silver-plated table objects from this period. This vase can be placed on a bedside table, desk, shelf or dining table, for a fresh stem or a dry branch. Its dark color can be suitable for a wabi-sabi or brutalist decoration as well as for a more refined interior. Height: 18 cm, base diameter: 6 cm.
