Product description
The Gaou rugs are handwoven by women in a small production workshop in Portugal. They take the time to sort natural cotton fibres collected from the regional textile industry and recycle them. On traditional wooden looms, they weave by hand without water or electricity, using only the strength of their arms. Each rug is unique: slight variations in weave and tone are the signature of the artisan's hand. Machine washable. Available from 60x100 to 200x300 cm. Dimensions: 150×200 cm. Made in Portugal. Available in 5 variants (sizes and/or finishes).
