The TRIFID collection of collectible vase-objects, envisioned by designer František Jungvirt and crafted alongside master glassmaker Martin Štefánek, draws profound inspiration from the legacy of surrealism, postmodernism, and the mysterious allure of nocturnal flowers that only bloom in darkness. The defining and most exceptional feature of this series is the use of rare uranium glass, which gives the vases their characteristic olive-green hue and grants them the extraordinary ability to glow with an intense, magical luminescence under ultraviolet (UV) light. Masterfully mouth-blown into traditional wooden molds and precision-cut by Jiří Štencl, each Trifid vase achieves its seamless color gradient through hot-glass rubies wrapped around the molten bubble, ensuring that no two pieces are alike. Offered by our studio in both a high-gloss mirror finish or a velvety sandblasted matte texture, the collection also includes a highly limited Trifid Surrealism edition adorned with organic, freehand hot-glass applications that turn each vessel into a breathing, sci-fi-like sculpture, with every piece being fully signed, numbered, and certified as a contemporary masterpiece.
