František Jungvirt pushes the boundaries of contemporary glass art in this debut collection of bespoke lighting by giving iconic studio vases a completely new dimension, scale, and function. The transition from vase design to directly working with light sources allowed František Jungvirt to explore glass from within—light no longer merely falls on the object from the outside, but radiates directly from its core, dynamically transforming the glass's color, optical depth, and overall silhouette. The collection is divided into three distinct series, each introducing a different character, emotion, and method of light distribution into space. Hand-blown by Czech masters into traditional wooden molds and precisely cut, each object is fitted with custom-engineered metal hardware.
