A profound symbiosis of glass and organic tissue as an artistic manifesto. Reacting to biological experiments and mutations in nature, the experimental FLORAL CREATURES collection by František Jungvirt radically disrupts conventional stereotypes surrounding the relationship between vase and flower. František Jungvirt transforms glass objects into living, hybrid organisms, deliberately abandoning the purely aesthetic function of a vase and channeling the legacy of Art Nouveau visionary Émile Gallé to give rise to distinct, sculptural masterworks such as SNAKE, SKULL, INVADER, and CARNIVOROUS PLANT. The exceptionally demanding production took place at the furnace of master glassmaker Martin Štefánek in Desná, combining complex, historic Art Nouveau techniques like free-hand sculpting, layering with colored glass powder overlays, matting with specialized painting salts, and crackling into signed, certified, and strictly unique investment-grade art objects suspended between sci-fi and natural mystique.
