Caning is a surface weaving method used for furniture. The material, the cane, is derived from the peeled bark of a rattan stem that is most often found in Southeast Asia. Cane furniture has a long tradition and history in the seventeenth century, when European trade with Asians. It has a unique quality that gives a warm and timeless texture to the interior space. “Cane Collection” is designed by Atelier2+ and manufactured by the PODIUM factory, a long history and expertise in the wood craft business in Thailand.
