Product description
Horse is an eternal theme in China. He has profoundly marked his history and culture. The breed of this horse is a Ferghana. This enamelled ceramic was the apogee of the art of ceramics under the Tang, called "Sancai" meaning three colors. The crouching attitude of this sculpture is particularly rare giving him the impression that he was surprised or on the defensive. The animal is enamelled at the level of the mane, the saddle and the caparison as well as the decorations with a subtle play of mixtures of enamel giving it a certain sumptuousness.
