Product description
On an Indian rainfed cotton warp, the Tussar Silk provides a metallic sheen and an amazing luminous and iridescent glint to the satin weaved structured surface. Made from silkworm exclusively fed with oak leaves, and not mulberry leaves, its fibers are very elongated giving it a better resistance than the common silk. The Tussar silk is harvested in a non-violent way ("Ahimsa”) according to which the cocoon must be collected only after the butterfly left. More Fabrics
