A large number of Muslim and animist believers travel kilometers twice a year to gather on the mausoleum of Sheikh Hussein, in Oromo country, Ethiopia. Pilgrims proudly display their "oule" during the ceremonies that accompany this gathering, which is the most important pilgrimage of this region of Africa. These sticks with pure form and deep patina are carefully preserved in the families and transmitted to the following generations symbol of belonging to the pilgrims of Sheikh Hussein.
