Pool for two

Greek-born Marina Vernicos is inspired by the heavenly landscapes all around her everyday and pays homage to them through her photography. Born in Athens, she has deep admiration for her native country and notably for the many Greek islands that she captures through impressive aerial views. Since 2001, she has exhibited her images internationally and collaborates with the brands Mercedes, Perrier, and Napapijri. Marina Vernicos won the Sandro Botticelli Prize at the Palazzo Giucciardi Bongianna in Florence and first prize from National Geographic for one of her photographs taken in Antarctica.
