These trays are handmade by craftsmen in Japan.
Made of Japanese washi paper. Washi is produced in a traditional manual process by hand from the bark of the mulberry tree.
Washi paper entered UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage on 27 November 2014.
Wood engraving - hand-dyed method with a processing of illustrations in past colors.
