Product description
I work with different types of eath , I prefer grog (cruhed high-fired clay) for stoneware, earthenware and porcelain. I fashion my pieces on the board using the "African Method" (earth trown on a board) after assembling this earth I sculpt and model imaginry villages with a knife, inspired from my childhood by my Architect father (plans,scale models )and by my trips. Sometimes ,I underglaze as for porcelain ,applying my décor by paintbrush with natural oxides I fire my work at 980° to 1280°. At times , I smoke my pieces .
