Aureole plate

Kap-Sun Hwang, one of today's most renowned master ceramists, captured the interaction between the sun and the moon in the elegant form of AUREOLA by presenting the center of the plate as an elevated scene. This has the effect of transforming the edge of the plate into a light crown (halo in French). All drinking containers were inspired by the shape of the magnolia flower, one of the most beautiful flowers in Asia, and which has a particularly elegant floral shape. The iconic teapot with an open handle shape and a porcelain tea strainer pursues the harmonious language of design.
