Thanks to its flexibility and strength, palm is a fiber used by many communities around the world, used to create functional everyday objects such as baskets. These “Tenates de Palma” convey a know-how inherited from generation to generation in Oaxaca linked to a generous exchange of views with nature. The cutting, dyeing and complex braiding with Mixtec patterns is the result of a technique transmitted patiently that few artisans know how to master on Mexican territory.Product specifications
