Product description
Those oil lamps called “Fitine”are the most beautifull creation of the Mande blacksmiths and have a wide geographical use, through Mali, Guinée, Ivory coast and Burkina Faso. Mc Naughton, (“Iron Art of the blacksmith in the western sudan”) observe that oil lamps with a single cups were used for lighting homes, while those in several cups were used for nocturnal ceremonies.
