"For Alma Casa's first line of homeware, the studio revisited the traditional “bola” basket from the Guerrero mountains and sculpted it into a stool and side table that while corresponding to the traditional weaving of the region, represent shapes that have not been woven before in this technique. The palm can be worked in various colours: natural, green, coffee, and achiote colours. We do no use chemical dyes and avoid all processes that might be harmful to the weavers’ health. All the palm is sourced locally either by the weavers or their neighbors. More Dining Tables
