Pillow made on a pre-Hispanic back-strap loom and embroidered by hand. Made by traditional women weavers of Chenalhó, a village in the mountainous of Chiapas, Mexico. These embroideries, sometimes mixing wool and cotton, are ancestral Maya techniques, passing from generation to generation. The textiles arrive in France with a scent of cotton and wood fire.
