Pillow produced on a Maya back strap loom, by women weavers of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, on the Lake Atitlan. These delicate techniques of Ikat are centuries-old, passing down from generation to generation. They are made by hand, with unique designs specific to each artisan. This textile is inspired by the “Tzuts” or scarves worn in town by local women. Each design is a pattern illustrating life around the lake and has been modernized by Coutume. . Hand-woven .
