Shekarlou rugs are woven by members of the Qashqai tribal confederation and for centuries used as ‘bedding blankets’. These amazing rugs feature exceptionally good quality handspun wool, giving them a remarkable depth of color. The pattern is very simple, usually with a plain field and no border.
