Product description
It´s an abacus to make calculs: multiplication, divisions, even square roots. This analogic calculator was invented by J. Napier on1617.These series of rods, placed in different ways, allowed us to solve multiplication problems, long divisions and square and cubic roots. His method reduced these multiplication problems to sums and quotients were reduced to subtractions...It was of great use for day-to-day calculations and anticipated later calculating machines.
