Suave lamp

All our Suave hanging lamps are handmade from rattan and velvet. Rattan is a climbing palm or liana that is using trees as support and can grow up to 100 meters long. Most of the existing rattan species grow in the tropical forests of South East Asia, of which 70% in Indonesia. The weaving of rattan into baskets, furniture, and lamps are specialized skills that are taught from parents to children. The Suave lamp collection has been inspired by existing vintage lamp designs, where our designers have given it a modern touch. The looks of the lights are completed with high-quality velvet.
